About
I'm Ian Bezanson. I lead the Agentforce Commerce (formerly Commerce Cloud) practice at Ateko, a Bell Canada company. I also champion AI adoption across a 100-person Salesforce team: training programs, tooling, and adoption frameworks, because someone has to be the one who won't shut up about it.
Background
I've reinvented my career more times than is probably advisable.
I built a digital agency from my basement in Halifax. Garbage bags for curtains on our first real office. Four employees crammed into my living room before that. Grew it into a regional shop serving clients across Canada and the US, and sold it in 2018. Spent four years as a partner at the acquiring agency. Then pivoted to COO of a personal injury law firm, where I led operations through a full acquisition into a national legal group.
Landed in the Salesforce ecosystem at what's now Ateko in early 2025. BCS, Dalhousie University, 2004.

What I write about
AI tools, commerce, productivity, and the gap between what AI promises and what it actually delivers. Here, I write from personal experience and data. On the Ateko blog, I write about Salesforce commerce and enterprise AI adoption.
This is personal writing. Opinions are mine. No sponsors, no affiliations that influence what I write.
Personal
Dad to two boys (and their basketball coach, with more enthusiasm than skill on my end). Husband to a doctor who is, by any reasonable measure, the better half of this operation. Handler of one giant dog. Halifax.
